Big Time Maybe has yet to race over 6f but has won twice over the minimum trip and went close again at Wolverhampton recently. He’ll likely be taken on for the lead by Branscombe though the latter is 10lb higher than when scoring here in March and that pair may well set things up nicely for the returning AL BARG. The latter has been gelded over the winter having won a novices’ race at Windsor last summer and Richard Hannon’s charge is also preferred to Prince Ahwahnee, placed at Newbury in September.
