SECOND THOUGHT took a big step forward when beating today’s rival Sutter County by a neck over 6f at Kempton. The latter has subsequently won over the same trip at Newcastle but the Haggas colt is fancied to confirm superiority over this extra distance. Grey Britain could be the one to benefit the most if the latter pair fail to stay given he was unlucky in a couple of starts at Meydan last month when failing to get a clear run and then drawn wide. The remainder all have plenty to find on these terms including Dr Julius No and Marquee Club while Volatile and Annie Fior return to action having won maiden races back in November.
