      Verdict

      BARREN BROOK has every chance on these terms as he drops in class. A repeat of his third at York in September would make him hard to beat and he should have the measure of Freddy With A Y and Ravenous at the weights. The latter finished ahead of the former when fifth here last time and headgear is reapplied to Luke Dace's charge today. This looks tougher than the claimer Vastly won at Wolverhampton last month when beating Matraash a length.
