We'll side with Multahab here ahead of Second Minister, Vittorioso. The selection, one of two Gay Kelleway entries, has been knocking at the door and acts well here and, on official ratings, should go well in what is, overall, a modest event. A similar comment applies to Second Minster, although he lacks a recent run and six furlongs might suit him best. Vittorioso remains consistent and certainly has place claims, but see which of Gay Kelleway's runners Michael Fenton rides. Turning to the others. Joans Jewel showed promise on her debut and the drop to five furlongs could help her too. A similar comment applies to the well-bred Kryssa, who finished just over a length ahead of her that day. Maggie Maquette showed her first form last time out and the drop to five furlongs might suit also. Laconia ran well when third in a maiden here in November but did not look a straightforward ride on that occasion, while Valentia has a bit to prove on her first try on the all-weather. Overall, then, we'll side with Multahab to finally get his nose in front.
