In depth

Verdict

Charlie Johnston runs a couple of recent winners with FRENCH INVASION taken to defy his penalty having romping home by six lengths at Kempton on his debut - Ryan Moore takes over the reins today. Sax Appeal also won easily at Southwell last time but Fox Vision was a disappointing favourite at Kempton having earlier placed at the same track. Another Run and African Star are difficult to recommend on the evidence of moderate debut efforts.
