      Verdict

      STANLOW won here and at Wolverhampton last month. He will have to defy a penalty if he is to complete his hat-trick but might be improving and, with Philip Prince taking off 5lb, is probably the one to beat again. Great Conquest should confirm Kempton running with Archelao and has place claims as does Derfenna Art, who stayed on into third place at Wolverhampton after blowing the start. Ogartimo never threatened over track and trip last time but could also feature in this lesser contest.
