Capla Spirit's three all-weather victories have come on different surfaces, all over the minimum trip. CAPPANANTY CON has nine victories to his credit and completed a double over the track and trip last winter. He's now on a lower mark than that last success and can get back on the winning trail. Delta River won a Class 6 handicap over 7f here in November and this looks on the short side while Haseef hasn't run since a close third in a nursery here in August 2020. Helvetian had been in good form before a moderate effort at Wolverhampton and has won from higher marks than this but Howzak, who completed a Polytrack hat-trick in Class 6 handicaps in the autumn, has struggled from his raised mark.
