John Hills' runners have been acquitting themselves well in the last couple of weeks and Shirazi is fancied to go close again today. The gelding returned to form in minor handicap here last month made the most of a good opportunity. However, he may struggle to confirm the form with Analyze today and is reluctantly left alone for win only purposes. The Mick Channon-trained Analyze has shown no ill-effects from being kept on the go since last April and can be relied upon to run his race. But he does tend to find at least one too good and a chance is taken on Paragon Of Virtue today. His past form looks solid and he has a live chance at the weights today.
