pressed leader, ridden 3f out, slightly outpaced and dropped to 4th 2f out, rallied inside final furlong, went 2nd towards finish
tracked leaders, effort and every chance over 2f out, kept on one pace and lost 2nd towards finish
led, ridden and edged right over 2f out, headed over 1f out, faded final furlong
tracked leaders, effort when not clear run over 2f out, headway on inner to lead over 1f out, quickened clear
None of these can be easily ruled out but TENOR has won six times this year and looks the safest bet. He never figured in a tough Listed race at Kempton last time but there could be more to come from him stepping back up in distance. Prince Alzain is good enough to go close but hasn't raced since February while Energia Davos ran well for third in the Listed Churchill Stakes here last time and has a shout on that form. A recent winner at Chantilly, Complicit landed a similar conditions race at Wolverhampton earlier and is not out of this either.
