made most to over 3f out, weakened quickly 2f out, lost shoe
in touch until ridden and weakened 2f out
prominent, effort and every chance over 1f out, no extra inside final furlong
held up towards rear, outpaced 3f out, stayed on and switched left final furlong, ran on nearest finish
in touch on outer to 2f out, weakened over 1f out
dwelt, mid-division, ridden over 1f out and weakened
went right start, prominent, led over 3f out, headed 2f out, soon ridden and weakened final furlong
close up, kept on final 2f, not pace to challenge
prominent until weakened over 1f out
held up in touch, led 2f out, hard ridden approaching final furlong, headed inside final furlong, no extra towards finish
dwelt, held up behind, headway 3f out, chased leaders 2f out, every chance inside final furlong, no extra close home
with leaders over 4f, ridden and weakened over 1f out
behind, some headway over 1f out, never nearer
behind, kept from over 1f out, never nearer
always struggled in rear and eased 2f out
There is a large turnout for the nursery, but Fools Entire comes from a stable that excels in this sphere, with Morag and Lyrical Girl just two others who can make their presence felt. Fools Entire failed to see out the trip when tried over a mile at Musselburgh and is returned to his normal trip. He has been a bit frustrating but there is definitely a race to be won with him judged on an earlier effort at Warwick. Mick Channon has few peers in these type of events and Fools Entire does not look badly treated. Morag has already won twice and performed with credit behind the very useful Nyramba at Ascot last week. That is good form and she is on the short-list along with Lyrical Girl. She has been knocking at the door and might just have found conditions too fast when taken off her feet at Bath last time. Of the rest, Warm Hill is worth a mention, but Fools Entire is given another chance.
