Division two of the maiden can go to Foxglove who can make the most of her sex allowance from Space Cowboy. James Fanshawe's filly who runs in the same colours as Witticism, our selection for the opener, improved from her Leicester debut when second to Carenage at Kempton. The step up to a mile and a half no doubt contributed to her performance, and she should come on again here. Her main rival Space Cowboy caught the eye when third on his Folkestone bow despite pulling too hard, and will also benefit from the move up in distance. However, the form is nothing to write home about and Foxglove makes more appeal. The rest, Compton Expert apart, have shown nothing, and it will be a surprise if the two likely market leaders do not fight out the finish, with Foxglove coming out on top.
