Verdict

TRYSTER continued his upward curve with a success in the Group 3 Winter Derby over track and trip last month. He beat Grendisar with more in hand than the narrow winning margin would suggest and can also confirm running with Complicit in this. Gaelic Silver and Rebellious Guest are others with something to find with Charlie Appleby's charge but Solar Deity looks a threat re-opposing on much better terms for an earlier defeat at Wolverhampton. The latter also has the beating of Jack Of Diamonds but Irish raider Shalaman could go well after surprisingly beating the odds-on Parish Hall at Dundalk last month.
