      Verdict

      In a classy contest Eva Soneva So fast is taken to come out on top ahead of top weight Sweet Indulgence and Melpomene. Melpomene completed a hat trick before finding a mile and three quarters stretching his stamina last time. he has gone up the handicap though and may just be in the handicapper's grip in his toughest assignment yet. Sweet Indulgence has won twice over the course and distance recently and has completed a hat trick. He has gone up the handicap but he has looked very progressive and he is only reluctantly passed over. Eva Soneva So Fast won in good style over the course and distance last time, and although six pounds higher here he can reverse previous form with Melpomene over a furlong shorter trip and on slightly better terms. Eva Soneva So Fast is a consistent type and he can take this competitive affair.
