Several took part in last year’s running when Alfred Hutchinson finished second and Charles Molson, Shyron and Barracuda Boy were all well beaten. The latter also finished behind Wolverhampton winner Gulliver last month and Hugo Palmer’s charge should go well again. London is upped in class having won at Epsom earlier but Miracle of Medinah won a conditions race in France in August while Easy Tiger could be thereabouts. SACRED ACT was having his first start since finishing third at Newmarket in April when fading inside the final furlong at Ascot last time. Michael Bell’s charge should make a stronger challenge with that outing under his belt and gets the nod.
