An interesting handicap where ARTY CRAFTY looks worth following again, while Honorable Endeavour and Slicker are the eyecatchers among the opponents. Sir Mark Prescott has worked his magic again with Arty Crafty, placing her to land a hat-trick of wins last month, and she receives a 6lb penalty for scoring last time at Kempton over 10f. Even though pedigree suggests that this 1m 4f might stretch her a little, she might have too much in the way of class and given that she handles the Polytrack we will stick with her. Honorable Endeavour's pilot George Baker rides this track well and will want to make it a real test, given that his mount has gone close over two miles recently and takes a marked drop in trip. This surface suits, though things may just happen a little quickly for him. David Myerscough saddles Slicker and it would be churlish to write off this Marju gelding who comes here freshened up, wearing cheek pieces for the first time, and makes his handicap debut. Money for him would be very interesting given a lowly mark of just 58. Cecily Parsley fits a similar sort of profile for a very good yard and should now be capable of showing us much more than in three maidens, while Fleur De'Lion looks very hard to win with but may have enough ability to make her presence felt to some degree. Arty Crafty won't be much of a price, but with respect in particular to Slicker, we will not desert her just yet.
