        Verdict

        Only Ten Per Cent scored easily on the Fibresand last time but has been upped 10lb and has yet to win away from Southwell. DESERT STRIKE goes unpenalised for landing an apprentices' race at Wolverhampton last week and he looks sure to make another bold bid. Spellmaker returned to winning ways at Kempton last month but is 7lb higher today while Alnoomaas has been trying his best to end a long losing run without being quite good enough. Seek The Fair Land does his winning in claimers nowadays but Langley Vale has a chance on his latest third over track and trip.
