      Verdict

      Kempton winner If So is good enough to get involved on her seasonal reappearance but Avonvalley has a fitness edge. The latter scored at Wolverhampton in March though was beaten off today's mark last time. AMBER HEIGHTS returned to action with a victory at Kempton last month. Henry Candy's mare is 3lb higher today but scored a shade cosily despite the narrow winning-margin and gets the vote to follow-up. Chevise finished ahead of Catalinas Diamond when runner-up here recently but this is tougher.
