Both of Field Gun’s victories so far have come at Chelmsford with the latest coming over 7f. GLOBAL TANGO made all under Jamie Spencer at Kempton last week and, well drawn again, can defy a penalty if the blinkers work a second time with Cieren Fallon’s claim taking care of the penalty. Tan has been running better than recent form figures would suggest and has slipped further down the weights so looks a danger along with Chelmsford third Red Alert, who is also a course and distance winner. Last year’s winner Tavener is 8lb lower and arrives in decent form again so can’t be ignored.
