      Verdict

      Za'Lan is likely to start a short price again, despite failing to land the odds over C&D last week with Dalmo well behind, and it could pay to take him on here with LINROYALE BOY. He's posted only a couple of modest efforts over a mile at Southwell so far but this longer trip should be within his compass and he hails from an in-form yard. Echos Of Motivator is a frustrating sort who has had plenty of chances, but November's bumper winner Life Of Laughter is worth noting on his debut on the Flat.
