In depth

Verdict

Jamie Osborne's runners are flying at present so an eyecatching debut from Snow Bounty would be no surprise here, though preference is for the other newcomer Maslaha. Michael Jarvis's filly will undoubtedly improve for a step up to a mile in time, but this looks an ideal start for her and she is well related and likely to be good enough. Snow Bounty cost 80,000 guineas and has the pedigree to some sort of return on that investment and it is not impossible that that could begin today. The step back up to this trip should suit Always Certain while Liberty Valance is another with potential, particularly at this trip. Micheals Boy can step up on his Kempton debut of last month, but Maslaha is put up as the selection in this concluding maiden.
