CRY ALOT BOY is fancied to beat Hurakan and Can Can Star if granted a true pace. The selection is a hold-up performer who should still be feasibly handicapped off this new mark of 77. He has plenty to find with Can Can Star on their run at Nottingham in July but his latest outing suggested that he is still on the upgrade and he can swoop late for victory. Hurakan landed a gamble here last time out and represents one of the success stories of the year in trainer David Evans; he has a little to prove in terms of the trip however and is shunned. Black N Brew is winless in 15 starts and doesn't look particularly well-handicapped, Theonebox returns from a break and needs watching in the betting, whilst Addwaitya may be happier on the flat after an aborted run over hurdles earlier this month. Basra runs this track well, whilst Suzi Spends is a course and distance winner and her mark looks fair enough. Debra England knows top-weight Can Can Star well however he is still 8lb above his highest winning mark and so is passed over in favour of Cry Alot Boy.
