In depth

Verdict

RED SHOWGIRL found the competition too hot in Listed company at Newbury. But Archie Watson’s filly had won a novice race over track and trip before that and gets another chance now handicapping. Brown Owl struggled on her handicap debut but Prince Kendeux made a winning debut in a nursery when scoring at Wolverhampton and is penalised 6lb. Maiden winner Gift Horse looks best of the rest.
