In depth

Verdict

Red Unico could only keep on at the one pace when fourth over 1m at Newcastle last time so maybe this step up in distance is what's required. But it wouldn't be a great shock should NIGHT GENERATION leave last year's form behind now tackling a trip more in line with his breeding. A mark of 55 should be manageable if he has improved over the winter. Kerrymerry was third over 1m4f at Beverley last month so won't fail through lack of stamina and is likely to the one to take advantage should Sir Mark Prescott's gelding fall short. Lady Bee has a bit of scope and may prove the pick of the remainder.
