    Verdict

Sentinel is likely to be a warm order to follow up his impressive victory here earlier in the week. A six pound penalty might not be enough to stop Gerard Butler's improver but he has to run over two furlongs less and is by no means a certainty. Better value could be found in the shape of Lord Stradbroke who should be suited by this trip and has gradually been coming to hand. Hailing from a stable riding the crest of a wave (M Jarvis), Lord Stradbroke could go close. Of the remainder Exhibitor is the least exposed and could be open to improvement.
