    Verdict

    DONNA GRACIOSA was well beaten on her only all-weather start but improved in leaps and bounds last summer and completed her hat-trick in better company than this at Musselburgh. She gets the vote over her much more experienced all-weather rivals with Planetoid looking a very strong opponent. Jim Best's charge was in tremendous form at the end of 2014 completing a hat-trick on this track and, after a very long break, returned to action with a victory over hurdles at Plumpton in February. Karam Albaari reappeared over a trip too short at Southwell and is 8lb higher than his victory at Chelmsford just over a year ago while Tony Carroll's veteran Shalambar, while having a fine strike-rate of 7-32 on the all-weather, generally operates at a lower level.
