Catherine Medici has a nice pedigree and would not need to be out of the ordinary to take a hand but her yard is hardly known for their success with newcomers so a safer bet looks to be My Amalie, who is preferred to Discotheque. The last mentioned has shown ability but has had plenty of chances and may again find at least one too good. Eldori showed little sign of ability on her only start as a juvenile, while Lady Becks would need to step up considerably on her debut effort to trouble the judge. Tilsworth Charlie may do better once sent handicapping and preference is for My Amalie, who has easily the best form on offer having run third in the Cherry Hinton and a reproduction of that form should suffice.
