Callbrae's juvenile form is solid and she deserves to win a race, although life from top weight here will not be straightforward. Midnight Special also holds chances and we should see her ensuring a good pace. She is closely weighted with Tender on a c/d back-end run last season. Tender is one of four course and distance winners in the contest, the others being On Point, Domirati and Arabian Knight, and they can all be given a chance. Ladies Knight comes here fit but took 13 attempts to earn winning brackets, while Danetree Affair has a little to find with Tender on their Chester runs last August, although she comes here fitter than that filly. It's a tricky race in which to make a confident call but, if pressed, maybe the course and distance winner Tripti, who won't lack for fitness, is the one to side with.
