Verdict

Mazuri Cowboy ran better than expected when runner-up to Dream Function at Clonmel with today's rival CASTLE WINGS just behind. The former has since run poorly at Fairyhouse and the latter was racing over a trip much too short that day and can reverse the placings and take this. He ran very well in a better race here yesterday and gets the vote if allowed to take his chance. Western Man only showed a glimmer of ability over timber but won between the flags so may do better over fences. Barnanely Beau has won twice between the flags but hasn't been seen since May of last year while another point-to-point winner, Hatrick Harry, was well beaten over hurdles at Thurles last month.
