Johnny Barry has ridden the winner of three of the last four of these and recent Kirkistown winner Dukehill would have a chance if getting his jumping act together. Lord Schnitzel never won in 16 starts under Rules but has found things much easier between the flags, completing a hat-trick in the autumn. He's only eight so has plenty of mileage left while IS A REAL CHAMP is a year younger. Formerly with Paul Nicholls, he was beaten five lengths by Lord Schnitzel at Loughrea before being disqualified but has improved subsequently and can take his revenge. Exit Eleven has suddenly found his form and completed a double at Boulta while Vital Island pops up every now and then as he did when beating a decent field at Lingstown.
