Verdict

FESTIVAL OPERA gets a tentative vote in this maiden hunter chase. Philip Dempsey's charge hasn't had much experience for his age but his close third over the banks course at the Punchestown Festival in April may be good enough. Wrong Direction landed a point at Boulta by 20 lengths earlier this month so could be anything while leading point-to-point rider Barry O'Neill was on board when Kadmer won at Portrush in October. Glorious Galway finished runner-up in a Cork hunter chase in November while Johnny Sue has won three times between the flags.
