LAKE FIELD was always travelling strongly when scoring on heavy going at Tramore a fortnight ago and can defy an 8lb rise and follow up. Runner-up Orah Hall was beaten 7l but should get closer on the revised terms without reversing the form. The Pine Martin ran poorly at Punchestown after a much better previous run in a big field at Thurles while Mackey Boy found 2m6f much too far last time after a very good effort over this trip at Cork and has a course victory to his credit.
