In depth

Verdict

Speckled Wood has had little experience over fences but is nicely handicapped on his hurdles form and is one to be interested in. Make A Track is undoubtedly a smart prospect who should go well though this is a tough event to be making a handicap debut over fences. DICK DUNDEE has been in very good form over hurdles which is why his rating is 30lb higher than over fences. Paul Nolan's charge can take advantage though there are numerous dangers not the least being Immediate Response, twice a winner from just five starts over fences and seemingly on an attractive mark. Lookoutnow appeared to be running into form at Clonmel last time and is another to consider. Shrapnel appears unlikely to take part after his defeat here yesterday.
