Verdict

CLASHANISKA was sent off a short-priced favourite on his reappearance at Naas but couldn't contain the strong finish of Flash Gordon. Last season's form should be good enough to see him home here though Claim The Lady, from a yard in excellent form, found a mile just beyond him at Leopardstown so this trip will be ideal. Geneticist was a 20/1 chance on his debut at Gowran but belied his odds with a cracking effort, caught right on the line after leading 2f out. He'll be a threat on that form while Wartime Hero was returning from a very long break at Cork and will be better for the run after attempting to make all. Harbour Dance showed enough on his debut at Naas to suggest he'll be up to winning this campaign.
