Verdict
QUICKPICK VIC missed a winning opportunity through bad weather at the weekend but should make amends. He was beaten 11 length when runner-up to Owen Mc on his racecourse debut at Fairyhouse last month but the winner has scored in better company subsequently so the form looks strong. Bridies Boy easily won between the flags at Athlacca in May and looks a nice type for jumping but the main threat should come from Theatre Mill, who travelled well for much of the way on his debut at Navan in September and will have benefited greatly from the experience.
