In depth

Verdict

Caesar Rock attempted to make all over slightly further at Killarney and was only headed at the last by the smart Saldier. Shannon Glory completed a double on good ground over timber last summer and made a satisfactory chasing debut on the latter track earlier this month. Winning bumper and four-times hurdles winner The Friday Man made a mistake and lost his chance on his debut over fences at Down Royal and will improve while San Salvador won a tough handicap hurdle at Punchestown in December before disappointing at Cheltenham. He makes his chasing debut as does Grozni, who has been going well in top handicap company over timber. TOSS AGAIN has a superb chasing pedigree so the fact that he was able to win twice over hurdles is a bonus and he looks the type to do well over the bigger obstacles. Freedom To Dream looks best of the remainder.
