In depth

Verdict

Ballycallan King has the advantage of experience which should count in these conditions though there are some interesting hurdling newcomers. Diamboy Des Carres looked well at home on testing ground in a Clonmel bumper while Frontispiece won five times on the Flat in the UK. Native Speaker easily won a point-to-point on New Year's Day while Walk Away Harry showed real tenacity to get up close home in a Punchestown bumper in April. WHAT'S UP DARLING, a winner between the flags, was impressive when landing a 2m2f Tipperary bumper in May and his stamina can come into play here.
