In depth

Verdict

Grade 1 winning chaser Ornua has bounced back to form after a long losing spell and the quick ground is in his favour along with his rider's claim though he's only had a couple of runs over hurdles over the past three years and may be vulnerable. Benbulben Boy easily won a novices' hurdle over slightly shorter on this track but the race conditions suit THE GETAWAY STAR, who will be receiving lumps of weight with the in-form Shane Fitzgerald in the saddle. She won easily here in May and was by no means disgraced behind the progressive Ruaille Buaille at Kilbeggan.
