CHANGE SINGS, who cost €540,000 and is a half-brother to 10 winners, was well supported at Dundalk earlier this month but missed the break, ran green and couldn't get into the race. He'll know more here and can justify Classic entries. Empty Metaphor was a 100/1 chance for a Group 3 on heavy ground at Leopardstown but ran an excellent race, only weakening in the closing stages. A similar effort would see him go close while Magnanimous Mehmus was only just beaten in a Cork handicap and any further rain would aid his cause. Toughen Up showed his first sign of ability at Cork last week while Monitola and Winston Spencer, both well-bred, will improve for their respective debuts.
