Comhghairdeas ran four times in similar ground maidens last season without finding a finishing burst but might be suited by this slightly longer trip. Pennsylvania hasn't made the expected progress and looked moderate in a Leopardstown handicap last time but his former stable companion Sao Paulo may do better with a change of yards and should be noted in the market. Shamad was well supported at Cork but didn't handle the heavy ground and was allowed to come home in his own time so he can do better but the form pick has to be TRUE VALOUR. Johnny Murtagh's colt improved with every run in his first campaign and was only caught in the dying strides by the useful Lancaster Bomber at Leopardstown in August.
