This is quite a tricky course with its undulations but Carrow Queen gained her only success over hurdles so far over the track and trip though hasn't been in the best of form. FOR CARMEL (NAP) showed his first sign of ability when just touched off over this trip at Clonmel by the in-form Returntovendor. He could have done without a 6lb rise but his young rider's claim takes care of the extra and he can go one better. The Church Gate is totally untested over this trip having been narrowly beaten over the minimum at Thurles last week but Willow Grange has no problems with the distance though a strike-rate of 1-41 is hardly inspiring. Winning point-to-pointer Rare Legend has done better over fences than hurdles.
