Verdict

Luke's Benefit has been well placed by Denis Hogan to win three times over timber and the same number over fences though he's now on his highest mark over hurdles. THEPARTYSOVER has gone up 6lb for beating Edmundo at Thurles but Martin Burke's claim wipes that out and a follow-up looks on the cards. Whiskey And Rye finally got off the mark with a battling display at Clonmel but an 8lb rise looks harsh. Treat Yourself started favourite in the race won by Luke's Benefit at Thurles but looked one-paced and may be a few pounds high. Torn Asunder won a Down Royal maiden on Boxing Day but ran poorly when fancied on his handicap debut at Punchestown in January.
