In depth

Verdict

THE CATHAL DON showed plenty of promise on his hurdling debut at Thurles in November and should be another winner for the all-conquering team of Henry De Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore. Collo Meo found only an odds-on favourite too good over course and distance on his hurdles bow last month so rates a danger and Calthor would be a threat to all if getting a run from his reserve spot given he’s started favourite in both starts so far over timber and had Garm Colombe behind at Wexford last month.
