Cinder Rua had shown nothing before a much better run over the minimum trip at Fairyhouse where she was staying on at the finish. Corporate Box attempted to make all over a slightly longer trip at Clonmel and was only caught in the closing stages on very heavy ground. FEENAKILMEEDY can take this as she looked a certain future winner when a close second in a strong maiden here in December and her next run is best ignored as she made a bad mistake at the first. Hell Cat Maggie was narrowly beaten by Tudor Fashion at Fairyhouse and was fancied to go one better at Punchestown but ran poorly. Blodge makes a quick reappearance after scoring very easily between the flags while Fair Funny had shown promise before well beaten in a Grade 3. Vic Dancer won a Gowran bumper and has run well enough over hurdles to be considered in a tricky maiden.
