Elusive Ivy was a 20/1 chance on her debut in testing conditions at Thurles last month but ran out a convincing winner after travelling nicely throughout. Runner-up Lady Dromlac had no answer when the winner quickened past at the furlong pole but kept going and will have improved for the experience. KATE APPLEBY SHOES took a while to lose her maiden tag but was impressive at Gowran despite showing signs of temperament after being out on her own for a long time. She can add to her stable's brilliant week by completing a double. Kayf Hampshire, who made a successful debut here in December 2013, reverts to a bumper after a reasonable debut over timber at Punchestown but Palm Sur, a debut winner at Killarney in the summer of 2013, has had just two subsequent runs and hasn't been seen for a year.
