Supreme Vinnie won this last year by a rapidly diminishing half-length from Miss Sassie, who arrives in much the better form and has a good weight advantage so is expected to go well. The smart hurdler Ravenhill made an impressive chasing bow over 2m3f here before finding Plinth on a going day at Kilbeggan but has the potential to go on to better things though his lack of experience may catch him out. His stable companion Mrs Lovett has been in excellent form and her narrow defeat by the prolific Peregrine Run in a Killarney Grade 3 puts her in the picture. She had several of these, including Punches Cross, Art Of Security and Draycott Place, behind when third behind Conrad Hastings in another Plate trial at Kilbeggan but in second place that day was HASH BROWN (NAP) who was having only his second run back after almost two years off and looks very well handicapped at his best. Mindsmadeup is up 10lb for his victory at Downpatrick but won so easily he has to be of interest under Paul Townend.
