Verdict
EYE VAN has been gradually improving and has come up against some smart winners since tackling this sort of trip with his second in a Grade 3 at Clonmel last month looking strong form. The Waltzer has been staying on over shorter but Angels Dawn was a disappointment at Punchestown, though her earlier placed efforts in Grade 2 and 3 company would make her the one to beat. Winning point-to-pointer Emily Roebling has now been beaten nine times under Rules but is suited by the trip and conditions and winning bumper Pat's Pick should be winning over timber soon, though this is a competitive maiden.
