Verdict

BUSTER DAN DAN is running so well that he can defy a big weight. Mikey O'Connor's point-to-point winner has returned to hurdling in superb form and only just failed to make all over 2m6f on his handicap debut at Listowel after his maiden success at Downpatrick the previous month. He's been raised 4lb but Johnny Burke's claim takes care of that and he can return to winning ways. Jamesmichael has gradually improved and makes his handicap bow from a fair mark after beating Redrobin at Roscommon. Stonehall Jack hasn't had much experience but ran well on his handicap debut at Roscommon and Barry Geraghty is a very positive booking. More Madness has to be a threat as he was in very good form over fences earlier this year and reverts to hurdling off a 16lb lower mark. The booking of Ruby Walsh for Sir Harry Cash catches the eye though his mount would be happier with plenty of give.
