Verdict

Augustin will come in for support given connections and a convincing victory at Thurles though he'll do well to see off ARTICULUM. A winning point-to-pointer, his close second to the well-regarded New To This Town was followed by a comfortable victory at Naas and he looks a smart prospect. Showem Silver landed a Fairyhouse bumper in good style before unseating his rider over hurdles at Leopardstown while Polymath, who scored between the flags last March, will be better suited by this trip after a couple of reasonable runs over the minimum. Goaheadmakemyday battled to victory at Fairyhouse in January but didn't quite run up to that form on a return visit a few days later.
