This is a trial for the Plate and was won last year by KING OF BREGA though he didn't run well in the big one at Galway. He's 7lb higher this time but has been racing over hurdles to protect his mark and should be in the firing line again so gets the nod. Fourth-placed Aranhill Chief reappeared after a long break to chase home Kilcarry Bridge at Ballinrobe and should get into the action again while Net D'ecosse has only been raised 1lb for a head defeat by Sandymount Duke at Down Royal though he was receiving 28lb from the winner. Rock On Fruity has yet to win over fences but is getting closer while Phil's Magic has a similar profile and is also reasonably treated.
