BIDEFORD LEGEND has had limited experience over fences but looks set to gain his second victory on his fourth start over the bigger obstacles. In very good form over hurdles earlier this year he reappeared with an excellent third behind Macville here last month and that winner landed a Grade 3 at Down Royal on Friday to give the form a massive boost. Royal Blood had very little chance from well out of the handicap in the Munster National here last time but this is more his level and he's just 6lb higher than when scoring at Gowran previously. Dual point-to-point winner Curragh Grey landed a handicap on fast ground at Killarney in August and though not getting far on his only subsequent start at Listowel has enough scope to make his presence felt as does For A Finish despite an 8lb rise for last month's Thurles success.
